Government guidelines for volunteer action
The document Orientations gouvernementales en matière d'action bénévole (
,285 KB) (available in French only) gives a brief overview of volunteering in Québec, presents measures implemented recently by the Québec government to support volunteer action and specifies the guidelines adopted for the coming years to better consolidate it.
These guidelines echo many of the recommendations made by the members of the International Year of the Volunteer 2001 follow-up committee in a final report submitted to the government in December 2002.
