Encouraging volunteer action: a priority

Over the fall, the Secrétariat à l’action communautaire autonome et aux initiatives sociales (SACAIS) and the Réseau de l’action bénévole du Québec (RABQ) will be busy implementing the plan to recognize and encourage volunteer action launched on April 22 by Minister of Employment and Social Solidarity Sam Hamad. Among other efforts, SACAIS is currently deploying a volunteer action promotional campaign, targeting young people, seniors and newcomers. For more information, see the "I want to volunteer" section
