Québec Awards
For several years, the Québec government has implemented measures to support, promote and recognize volunteering. They include setting up this Internet portal, adopting a logo symbolizing volunteering and creating the Hommage bénévolat-Québec award.
Through various acknowledgement activities, the Québec government recognizes the fundamental value of volunteering and the organizations supporting it throughout Québec.
This section briefly describes the awards that the Québec government discerns to volunteers and community organizations via its departments or other government entities. It gives you access to various sites presenting these forms of departmental recognition and the government’s Prix Hommage bénévolat-Québec award, destined for volunteers in all activity sectors.
It will introduce you to some of the sectors in which volunteering occurs. You can also help recognize volunteer work by nominating individuals or community organizations whose commitment you wish to see acknowledged.
