Presentation of awards
Hommage bénévolat-Québec is an award given by the Québec government to highlight the exceptional commitment and valuable contribution of volunteers and organizations in every region of Québec. It is intended to reward the efforts of citizens in their community and the actions taken by community organizations to promote and foster the development of volunteerism.
The Secrétariat à l’action communautaire autonome et aux initiatives sociales (SACAIS) is responsible for organizing the activities surrounding nominations and award presentation.
The Fédération des centres d’action bénévole du Québec (FCABQ), the Réseau de l’action bénévole du Québec (RABQ) and the sons of the late Claude Masson work closely with SACAIS to promote the awards.
